Diploma in Business Studies
This Diploma course is designed to help students to develop and acquire
a wide understanding and competence in business administration skills
required in the Malaysian context. It is incorporated with information
technology and legal knowledge in order to enable the students to meet the
current trends in the market place as well as to promote and support the
rapid development in the business environments in line with "Vision 2020
".
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional, (SPMV) as follows: - (i) Pass in Bahasa
Melayu.
The graduates in Diploma in Business Studies (Business Administration) may claim exemption from the Foundation program in the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) examination. They can also further their studies in the Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Business Management) cum ICSA or Advaced Diploma in Business Studies (Business Administration) or continue their education in Honours Degrees from universities and professional bodies. Graduates majoring in Business Administration will find employment as
administrative officers and personal assistants in such fields as
marketing, production, general finance, personnel and general management.
